Spring Lamb Evening on Friday 19th of March 2010

'As the daffodils and tulips start to show we will also be welcoming the new season's spring lamb'

Succulent lamb stuffed and roasted, served with a delicious sauce to bring out all those fabulous flavours.

We will also be serving a choice of starters and puddings as well as freshly ground coffee.

This evening is priced at £38.95 per head.

 

Forage Evening on Tuesday 1st April 2010

'Come and join us at By Appointment for an evening of fine dining the natural way'

A three course dinner carefully prepared by our head chef Ellery Powell.  All the food has been foraged locally for you to enjoy this evening.

Starter - A crisp salad of leaves, herbs and petals and hedgehog, all to be found growing wild in the hedgerows of Norfolk.

Main Course - This is a tasty mixture of Pidgon, Wild Deer and Squirrel cooked slowly and flavoured with wild garlic, bay and parsley in a rich jus with wild mushrooms.

Pudding - April Fool - a smooth blend  of wild berries and fresh cream

 

Theatre Evening on Wednesday 28th April 2010

'We are pleased to be offering another very special theatre night'

Start the evening at By Appointment with bubbly and an assortment of specially prepared canapés.  Then off to the Theatre to see the Northern Ballet Company perform Peter Pan, fly to Never Never Land in J. M. Barrie's classic tale, which has delighted children and adults for over 100 years.

Enjoy a drink in the interval and the return to By Appointment for a gorgeous main course, pudding and coffee.

The price of £79.00 includes the best theatre ticket, transport to and from the Theatre, bubbly, canapés, main course, pudding and coffee.

Taster Evening on Wednesday 12th of May 2010

'It is lovely for us to provide these special evenings as it gives the dedicated team in the kitchen a chance to show off and shine by producing these gourmet evenings'

There will be a pre starter, a fish course, a cleansing sorbet and then a delicious main course.  This will be followed by a pudding, cheese course and then to finish the extravaganza off, freshly ground coffee and hand made chocolates.

On arrival you will be served with a glass of bubbly, followed by four different wines to accompany each course and a glass of port to accompany the cheese.

This amazing evening is priced at £69.00 per head and includes all food and wine.

 

Jazz Evening on Friday 2nd of July 2010

'Owing to popular demand we see the return of our jazz evenings'

You will have the opportunity to listen to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday type songs whilst you enjoy a three course dinner finished off with freshly ground Colombian coffee.  There will be a choice of starters, main course and pudding.

This evening is priced at £46.00 and includes everything but the wine that you choose to accompany your meal. 

 

Lobster Evening on Wednesday 14th July and Wednesday 21st of July 2010

'Enjoy fresh lobsters as they come into season'

Each lobster weighing just over a pound will be accompanied by Hot and Cold Hors d'oeuvres, a sorbet and specially made pudding and Colombian coffee.
