Victorian Walled Kitchen
Garden Finally we are now seeing produce coming from the kitchen garden to the kitchens at the restaurant. Within the next eighteen months we hope that the Victorian walled kitchen garden will supply 80% of the restaurant's fruit, vegetable and herbs requirements. This year we have invested in a selection of Espallier trees which we hope will produce apples, peaches, cherries and figs for the restaurant. We have also established asparagus beds, strawberry beds and soft fruit bushes. This year will have also been fortunate enough to have a good crop of sweet peas and cornflowers - next year we hope the restaurant will be totally self sufficient from the flowers grown in the kitchen garden. Please note that the kitchen garden is not located at By Appointment.
Busy Bees We now have 5 hives in production and they produce all the honey needs for the restaurant. Customers also have the option to purchase jars of our Norfolk honey to take home with them.
